Job summary

The California State University Long Beach is seeking two part-time custodians to support daily cleaning and maintenance across campus facilities in Long Beach. You will perform routine custodial duties, maintain safe work areas, and assist with housekeeping tasks in assigned spaces.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, handling waste removal, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Custodial Services and immediate supervision of the Supervising Custodian, performs custodial, janitorial, and maintenance duties in assigned areas and other related work as assigned.
