This is a 12-month position eligible for full benefits. Hours may vary due to school activities, summer work, or inclement weather. Overtime may be required.

Purpose

Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintain equipment in functional condition; provide cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors, and others as necessary. Perform related duties and general maintenance work as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of cleaning and custodial duties is desirable. Ability to use hand tools, machines, and equipment such as floor machines and vacuums is desirable. Must be able to lift, pull, or push 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally. A 50-pound lift test will be required. Effective communication with students, staff, and the public is necessary. Ability to work well in a team is essential.
