Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a full-time Custodian to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at Aiken County Public Schools in North Augusta, South Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference as you'll ensure that students and staff have a safe and comfortable space to learn and grow.

Responsibilities include performing cleaning tasks, assisting with school events, and conducting minor repairs. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential, and training can be provided for the right candidate. Pay is $14.29 per hour with respect to the school year's terms.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down for school events and activities.
• Conduct minor repairs and report any major maintenance needs.
• Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the school remains a safe environment for students and staff.
