Job summary

Legends Global/Mohegan Arena is seeking a reliable part-time custodian to perform comprehensive cleaning across all areas of the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza, including floors, seating, restrooms, and lockers.

The role supports pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning, restocking supplies, trash removal, and related duties. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are required to align with events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Must pass a HireRight background check in accordance with company policy.
• Must practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete any company-wide safety training and any additional job specific training.
• Must possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must possess the ability to access all areas of the Arena, walk freely up and down steps, and stand for long periods.
• Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events.
• Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, work as part of a team, and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans all areas of the Mohegan Arena including floors, suites, loge boxes, lavatories, walls, windows, offices, locker rooms, dressing rooms, seating areas, and ramps and walkways inside and outside the Arena
• Meets all pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning requirements
• Restocks restroom supplies as needed
• Empties all trash cans inside and outside the Arena
• Performs other tasks and assists in other departments as assigned

Part-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position performs a multitude of physical tasks for the general and specialized cleaning of all areas of the Mohegan Arena.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleans all areas of the Mohegan Arena including, but not limited to, floors, suites, loge boxes, lavatories, walls, windows, offices, locker rooms, dressing rooms, all seating areas, and the ramps and walkways located inside and outside the Arena
• Meets all pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning requirements
• Restocks restroom supplies as needed
• Empties all trash cans inside and outside the Arena
• Performs other tasks and assists in other departments as assigned

WORK CONTACTS:

Daily and/or event day contact with Operations Manager, Operations Staff, and all other Arena Staff

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

• Position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.
• Must be clean and neat in appearance
• Must possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
