Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties under the direction of leadership. Duties will involve complete cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, corridors, public rooms, offices, other designated areas as needed and the changing of cubicle curtains. Responsible for the daily cleaning, room turnover cleaning and terminal cleaning of specialty areas including but not limited to: Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, LDRP, NICU, CCN, WETU. Candidate must be committed to consistently following and be part of the Baystate Health System Operating Principles of communication, integrity, respect, trust and collaboration and the Caring Values of quality, compassion, teamwork, service, innovation. Interacts often in a positive light with patient, family, and caregivers in a calm, caring, professional manner.

The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
