Job Details

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of our buildings in Ft. Cavazos, TX. The role is seasonal, with work scheduled two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday), for 3-4 hours per session between 8am-3pm. The pay rate is $23 per hour. The position runs from June to July, ending on August 5th, 2025.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all areas of the building are clean and well-maintained, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
2. Clean, sanitize, and maintain bathrooms using proper procedures and products.
3. Dust, polish, and wipe down furniture and fixtures.
4. Empty trash and recycling bins, wash bins as needed.
5. Perform heavy cleaning duties like floor cleaning and stain removal.
6. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
7. Secure the building and doors when not in use.
8. Follow safety procedures for chemical use and hazard management.
9. Must pass a background check.

Requirements

1. Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving and carrying items.
2. Physical capability for walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, etc.
3. Ability to understand and follow instructions.
4. Teamwork skills.
5. Dependability and punctuality.
6. Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is a plus.
