Job summary

Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our store environment. You will help create a clean, safe, and pleasant experience for customers and employees alike.

Responsibilities include upholding company policies, being flexible to store needs, and willingness to cross-train in other areas as required. Applicants must be at least 18 to operate machinery and represent our caring culture daily.

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance by ensuring the overall store cleanliness and safety that creates a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for both our customers and employees.

• Ability to represent and support Big Y’s culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.
• Supports Big Y’s commitment to Culture & Belonging.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery (refer to minor guidelines where appropriate).
