Job summary

Providence Community Health is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain clean, safe facilities in Providence, RI. You will follow disinfection guidelines, restock supplies, and dispose of waste according to schedule.

This role requires dependability, basic reading in English, and the ability to communicate with diverse colleagues and patients. Evening and night shifts available with a predictable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Wear utility gloves during cleaning and trash removal; follow disinfection and cleaning schedule.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in dispensers daily.
• Empty regular wastebaskets and replace plastic bags daily.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in proper dumpsters.
• Remove red biohazard bags and store as needed; keep outside steps/walks clean.

Performs all housekeeping duties, implementing disinfection and cleaning guidelines, and maintains general upkeep of assigned premises.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Wearing utility gloves during all cleaning and trash removal procedures, cleans facility according to Disinfection and Cleaning Schedule; checks and replenishes, as needed, paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in appropriate dispensers, daily; Empties all regular wastebaskets and replaces plastic bags, daily;
• Disposes of all trash in dumpster after proper bagging; Disposes recyclable trash in proper dumpster;
• Removes all red plastic bags from biohazard containers and stores in designated container, as needed.
• Insures outside steps/walks are clean at all times; Picks up all debris outside of building to maintain neat appearance.
