Job summary

Providence Community Health Centers is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented janitorial staff member to perform housekeeping duties, cleaning according to disinfection guidelines, and maintain building upkeep. You will report to the facilities team and support a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.

Strong dependability, basic reading English, and ability to communicate with diverse people are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wearing utility gloves during cleaning and trash removal; refills supplies daily.
• Cleans facility according to schedule; disposes trash; empties wastebaskets.
• Disposes of trash in dumpsters and segregates recyclables.
• Keeps outside steps/walks clean and debris-free for neat appearance.
• Employer will not ask unrelated tasks beyond listed duties.

Job description

Performs all housekeeping duties, implementing disinfection and cleaning guidelines, and maintains general upkeep of assigned premises.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Wearing utility gloves during all cleaning and trash removal procedures, cleans facility according to Disinfection and Cleaning Schedule; checks and replenishes, as needed, paper towels, toilet tissue, liquid soap and Purell in appropriate dispensers, daily; Empties all regular wastebaskets and replaces plastic bags, daily;
• Disposes of all trash in dumpster after proper bagging; Disposes recyclable trash in proper dumpster;
• Removes all red plastic bags from biohazard containers and stores in designated container, as needed.
• Insures outside steps/walks are clean at all times; Picks up all debris outside of building to maintain neat appearance.
