POSITION: Custodian-Full Time Position – Afternoon shift

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required. Maintenance skills certifications preferred

but not required. Strong work ethic; ability to work with students, staff,

and community in a positive manner. Experience and mechanical ability

preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform regular custodial duties in assigned areas of the building;
• Perform duties to include maintenance, waste management, supply management, and safety;
• Assist in removing snow/applying salt to assigned entryways;
• Ensure outside doors and windows are locked for security during and after school each day;
• All other duties assigned by the Supervisor of Custodial/Maintenance or Building Principal;
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds;
• Ability to communicate through e-mail, as well as knowledge of basic forms of technology;
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;

REPORTS TO: Custodial/Maintenance Supervisor and Building Principal

EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
