Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a dedicated custodian in McKinney, TX to perform cleaning and maintenance across headquarter facilities and medical clinic areas. The role focuses on dusting, trash removal, floor care, and general upkeep throughout the shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Starting pay is $16 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience using cleaning equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motion for long periods.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Under direction of the Company Services Supervisor, performs a broad range of custodian duties and manual work in the care and cleaning of the company headquarters building, medical clinic and/or other assigned facilities. Duties include dusting and polishing furniture, emptying trash, sweeping, cleaning surfaces and inspecting cleanliness of buildings.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs cleaning duties while adhering to approved department procedures and standards.
• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Loads/unloads dishwashers; cleans counter tops, coffee equipment, catering and conference rooms.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies, performs preventative maintenance, and maintains cleaning chemicals and consumable inventory.
• May train others and perform related work as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.certificate.
• Experienceusing cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutionspreferred.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, andperform repetitive motion forlong periodsof time.
