The successful candidate will adhere to safety procedures, participate in annual safety training, and assist with inventory and basic repairs. A focus on dependable service and positive interaction with staff and students is essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Exhibits appropriate communication skills.
• Meets necessary health and physical requirements in order to fulfill the physical demands.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains all buildings and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
• Assists in maintaining an inventory of supplies, equipment, and fuel on hand.
• Regulates heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide temperatures appropriate to the season and to ensure economical usage of fuel, water, and electricity.
• Follows proper safety procedures to maintain the security of the building and grounds.
• Performs minor building repairs.
• Reports major repair needs promptly.
• Complies with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash and waste.
• Knows and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the job of custodian.
• Participates in required annual safety training.
• Works in conjunction with district maintenance personnel to maintain building needs.
• Demonstrates positive customer service skills.
