Charlie Clark Auto Group is seeking a reliable Custodian/Janitor to maintain cleanliness across offices, restrooms, service areas, and showroom spaces at our auto dealership. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, trash disposal, and basic maintenance while ensuring safe, sanitary conditions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience; pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Prior custodial/janitorial experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina for long periods of standing, lifting, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to keep areas clean.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces regularly.
• Handle food at events for customers as required.
• Display snacks for customers while they wait in showroom.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (changing bulbs, small repairs).
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when low.
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Lock/unlock doors, turn off lights, and secure buildings.
• Report damages, repairs, or security concerns to management.

Custodian/Janitor– Auto Dealership

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our dealership. The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated building areas (offices, restrooms, service department, common areas, etc.) in a sanitary and safe condition.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean windows, and polish floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Handle food at events for customers
• Put on display/Make snacks for customers while they wait in our showroom
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs)
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly
• Lock and unlock doors, turn off lights, and secure buildings as required
• Report any damage, needed repairs, or security concerns to management

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED;1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training;Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and walk for long periods
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.

Work Conditions:

• May require evening, night, or weekend shifts
