POSITION SUMMARY - this position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Cleans the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
- Cleans and maintains restrooms.
- Disinfects commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
- Maintains cleaning and supply inventory for all supply rooms, placing orders for supplies when needed.
- Maintains outdoor grounds, removes debris and snow from sidewalk.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Dust furniture and fixtures.
- Performs minor repairs on equipment and tools.
- Notifies the appropriate personnel of unsafe conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Minimum High School diploma or GED
- Active driver’s license and minimum state-required auto-insurance.
- Reliable transportation
Experience Required
- 1 to 3 years minimum work-related experience required
- 3+ years minimum work-related experience preferred
Required Knowledge
- Prior demonstrated knowledge of various cleaning products, equipment and when and how to use and store them appropriately.
Skills/Abilities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to use and troubleshoot basic cleaning equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Demands
- The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during the workday
- Must frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs while cleaning offices, clinical areas, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Frequently pull, push, and maneuver housekeeping carts, vacuums, floor machines, and other cleaning equipment.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance or reasonably accommodation.
- Ability to safely use step stools and ladders for tasks such as changing light bulbs or cleaning high surfaces.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and use hand tools and cleaning products.
- Adequate vision and hearing to identify safety hazards, read labels, and respond to alarms or emergency situations.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed throughout office and clinical settings, including patient treatment areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
- Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, dirt, and other environmental contaminants.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials when cleaning spills or contaminated areas. Appropriate PPE, training, and safety procedures will be provided and are required.
- May occasionally work around clients who are experiencing behavioral health crises and have the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
