Chadron Community Hospital, Corp. in Chadron, NE is seeking a PRN/casual cleaner for 0-19 hours per week. The role cleans patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices, dusts furniture, empties trash, and replenishes supplies. Shifts may include evenings and some weekends.
Responsibilities include collaboration with the Support Services Manager and nursing staff, performing routine cleaning tasks, moving and lifting equipment, and participating in infection control initiatives as needed.

PRN/Casual 0-19 hours a week
Shifts may include:
Cleans and services patient rooms, bathrooms, lavatories, and offices. Cleans and mops floors, strips, waxes, and restores floors. Dust’s furniture and cleans equipment, cleans windows and window ledges. Empties trash receptacles scours and polishes shower, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment. Replenishes supplies of soap, paper towels, toilet paper, sharps containers and air fresheners. Cleans and polishes doors, tables, and wood walls. Performs a variety of other duties as related to the position.
Must have the ability to read and write English and follow oral or written instructions.
None required but preferred. Must know how to use common household cleaning devices, such as brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Ability to operate computer systems, talk in person on the telephone, hear in person and on the telephone, vision for close work, use of photocopier, fax machine, computer.
Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with patients, clinic staff, physicians, hospital staff, and the general public.
Be able to Lift 40 . Requires setting, walking, standing, ability to be mobile, some bending, stooping, stretching and lifting, Requires eye and hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to move freely within the hospital setting to conduct job duties.
Limited exposure to chemicals.
Has written and oral communicative abilities adequate to comprehend technical materials and communicate with medical professionals. Ability to read and record information. Ability to understand instructions, reason, and make judgments.
