SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Jacksonville, FL to perform janitorial duties and maintain a clean, safe environment. The role includes operating motorized cleaning equipment and following a daily schedule, with emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 months of training or experience, a valid driver’s license, and may need forklift certification. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned.
• Follow daily schedule and complete tasks.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Support shift lead with punch-list items.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures; wear PPE as required.
• Interact with team and customers professionally.

Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment**Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
