Job summary

ProMach is seeking a janitorial/custodial worker to maintain cleanliness across our facilities. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, sanitizing bathrooms, breakrooms, and conference areas, plus minor building maintenance tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and about 6 months of janitorial experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The base hourly rate is $20–$22, reflecting a hands-on role in our Hauppauge location.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and janitorial duties.
• Daily cleaning of facilities.
• Clean breakroom tables, microwaves, sinks, and floors.
• Sweep and mop floors; buff if necessary.
• Clean bathrooms and stock supplies; mop floors.
• Clean front doors and water dispensers; maintain logs.

• You will need to ensure all conference rooms are cleaned, prepared and ready for our customers.

Job Description

• Perform cleaning and janitorial duties
• Daily Cleaning of facilities
• Clean breakroom tables, microwaves, sink, floors
• Sweep and clean floors
• Buff if necessary and ensure oils, stains and dirt are removed
• Clean all bathrooms and stock toilet paper and paper towels, mop floors
• Clean fingerprints from front doors
• Clean water dispensers and community coffee pots
• Clean all offices (check desktops for spills)
• Clean Conference Rooms
• Empty all waste containers
• Perform minor repairs to building
• Minor plumbing repairs (ex-Unclogging toilets if necessary)
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials and request when necessary
• Keeping up with cleaning logs daily

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months of janitorial/custodial experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow all job safety requirements
• Dependable and punctual
• Self-motivated
• Ability to successfully multitask
• Good organizational skills
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (not necessary)

Base Hourly Rate $20-$22/hr
