Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Greensburg, Indiana to maintain cleanliness and safety across assigned sites. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and follow safety procedures while cooperating with the team and supervisors.

The role requires the ability to drive to various locations, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 2:30PM–11:00PM and occasional Saturdays. A valid driver’s license is preferred and forklift certification may be required depending

Qualifications

• 3-6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs.
• Safety and task training certification completed.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment as required.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the work area and report incidents to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, procedures and company policies.
• Work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors and leads.
• Shifts include Monday–Friday 2:30PM–11:00PM; occasional Saturdays.

# **Title:**Custodian# **Job Description:** **Job Overview**The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
