Job summary

Powerworks Industries, Inc. is seeking a Custodian at Ft. Benning to clean and maintain designated areas under the supervision of the Lead Worker and Supervisor.

Responsibilities include restroom and office cleaning, floor care, waste removal, window cleaning, and restocking supplies. The role requires basic custodial experience and a commitment to quality upkeep at the Ft. Benning site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, preferred.
• Minimum 3 months custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, and break rooms.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop assigned areas.
• Empty trash, clean windows, spot clean walls, restock restroom supplies.
• Apply advanced floor care techniques and perform stripping/waxing of hard floors.
• Aid in all areas assigned; perform any other duties as needed.

A Custodian with Powerworks Industries, Inc. (PWI) at Ft. Benning is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the assigned locations mandated by the PWI Ft. Benning Contract. He/she will clean and assist the Lead Worker and Supervisor in the cleaning and maintenance of all designated areas.

The Custodian responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and break rooms
• Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping
• Empty trash cans, clean windows, spot clean walls, and restock restroom supplies
• Application of advanced floor care techniques to the campus floor, as needed
• Top Scrub, strip, and wax hard floors
• Aid in all areas assigned
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements Education & Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); preferred Minimum 3 months of custodial experience
