Job summary

Teledyne Marine is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment in our Daytona Beach facility. This role supports employees, clients and visitors by keeping hallways, restrooms and common areas in top condition.

You will perform general cleaning, report maintenance needs and follow safety policies. A high school diploma is preferred, prior janitorial experience is helpful, and we offer competitive pay, benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

Position Overview

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in all areas of our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that our premises are presentable and hygienic for employees, clients, and visitors.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.

Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and cleaning chemicals and supplies.
