Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Concord, NC is seeking a Custodian for our distribution center. You will maintain buildings in clean and orderly condition, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and helping with landscaping. Work in extreme temperatures and on a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

No experience required; training provided. Must be 18+, able to read/write English, pass a background and drug screen. Equipment includes vacuum, lawn mower, and powered industrial vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS information and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum to keep the distribution center clean and organized.
• Empties trash and maintains walkways and outdoor areas.
• Perform inspections of equipment and report findings.
• Mow lawns and tend landscaping as needed.
• May handle hi-lo (forklift) batteries and related tasks.

As a custodian, you'll support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations.
