SBM Management Services, LP in the United States is seeking a Custodian responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned, while following safety rules and company procedures.

You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, manage hazardous waste tasks, support the shift lead, and maintain a professional appearance and conduct. Schedule is Wednesday–Sunday, 6am–10am, with a pay rate of $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license and safety/training certifications.
• Bilingual a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform janitorial duties and daily upkeep.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Handle hazardous waste tasks including collection, labeling, storage, and disposal.
• Report incidents to supervisor and comply with safety policies.

Title: Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment

Qualification

Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
