Job summary

The Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a full-time custodian to maintain cleanliness in a long-term care nursing center. You will perform floor care, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and stock supplies to support safe resident care.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass background and drug tests, and follow written and oral instructions while collaborating with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Be a high school graduate or its equivalent and some knowledge of institutional cleaning procedures.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background test and drug test.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• To embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of organization.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of maintaining effective working relations with residents, family members, department head, and fellow associates.
• Able to multi task work as necessary.
