• Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations for handling chemicals.
• Monitor the building for maintenance, safety, or security concerns and report issues.
• Prepare spaces for daily operations, meetings, and events.
• Maintain supplies and notify administration when restocking is needed.
• Support a safe school environment by promoting health and well‑being.
• Respond to spills, accidents, and facility-related situations per procedures.
• Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.

Salary And Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $16.50 per hour
• Work Schedule: 7 hours per day
• Retirement: Eligible to participate in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous custodial or building maintenance experience preferred.

• Follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Monitor the building for maintenance, safety, or security concerns and promptly report issues to administration.
• Prepare classrooms and common areas for daily school operations, meetings, and special events.
• Maintain adequate supplies and notify administration when cleaning or maintenance supplies need to be reordered.
• Support a safe and positive school environment by maintaining facilities in a manner that promotes student and staff health and well-being.
• Respond appropriately to spills, accidents, and other facility-related situations in accordance with school procedures.
• Perform additional custodial and facility-related duties as assigned by administration.
