South Colonie Central School District is seeking a Part-Time Custodial Worker to perform routine cleaning duties at Colonie Central High School. Shifts run from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with Saturdays only, starting ASAP per the contract.

This role requires basic knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment, the ability to follow simple instructions, and reliability. Physical fitness and the ability to work well with others are essential traits for success in this position.

POSITION TITLE: Part-Time Custodial Worker

REPORTING TO: Assistant Director of Facilities/Director of Facilities

HOURS: 7 a.m. to 3:30p.m; Saturdays only

START DATE: ASAP

CURRENT LOCATION: Colonie Central High School

SALARY: $20.40per hour per CSEA Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs routine building cleaning work; does related work as required.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to follow simple oral and written instructions; willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks; ability to get along well with others; thoroughness; dependability and good physical condition.
