Job summary

Commonwealth University of PA in Bloomsburg is seeking a Custodial Worker 1 (Part Time, 1st Shift) to join the facilities team. The position is essential and supports campus buildings, cleaning, and maintenance tasks.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and prior cleaning experience is preferred. Work hours are 6:00am–2:00pm, 18.75 hours per week, with part-time status across two positions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, waxes and polishes floors, lavatories, showers and fixtures.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and woodwork.
• Replaces light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Removes trash and sweeps sidewalks at entrances.
• Assists in moving furniture for events as needed.
• Completes work orders daily and submits them weekly.
