Baltimore County General Government is seeking a custodian to perform cleaning and upkeep across county facilities. The role emphasizes adherence to schedules, safety, and efficient use of cleaning supplies in a busy office environment.
Under general supervision, you will clean floors and spaces, set up for events, and assist with waste disposal while maintaining basic records. This full-time position requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Pay Schedule II, Grade H13, Regular Schedule: 40 hours per week

Under general supervision, cleans and provides general upkeep to County buildings and premises.

Some positions may require a driver's license equivalent to a non-commercial, class C or commercial, class B Maryland driver's license at the time of appointment.

Persons appointed to this classification will work on a fixed shift basis which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime when scheduled. Employees in this classification are designated as Emergency/Essential and may be required to work overtime with little or no advance notice.
The work of this classification entails the performance of heavy physical labor including bending, stooping, lifting and carrying of objects and the use of equipment. Some duties require exposure to hazardous conditions such as adverse weather, chemicals, and bio-hazards, such as body fluids and sewage. Some duties may require travel between work sites.
