Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors.

• Empty trash and recycling and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock restrooms with paper products and soap supplies.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and University safety standards.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll help ensure campus facilities remain clean, sanitary, and welcoming by:

• Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and pressure washers.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting classrooms, offices, common areas, and other campus facilities.
• Maintaining high-touch surfaces to support health and safety initiatives.
• Emptying trash and recycling receptacles and disposing of waste properly.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms with paper products and soap supplies.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and vacuuming floors and stairwells.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other surfaces.
• Washing walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other building features.
• Shampooing carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
• Reporting maintenance concerns and safety issues to supervisors.
• Supporting other campus areas when additional coverage is needed.
• Following all OSHA, EPA, and University safety standards.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

• Six months or more of custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or related experience.
