Position Title: Custodial Unit Director

Job Summary

The Unit Director oversees the cleanliness, sanitation, and security of assigned buildings. Responsibilities include coordinating janitorial work, supervising staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a safe environment. Effective communication with staff and building management is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate between shifts to ensure task completion.
  2. Train staff in janitorial methods and equipment use.
  3. Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
  4. Inspect work and ensure standards are met.
  5. Develop personnel and conduct staff meetings.
  6. Secure buildings after work and manage projects within budget.
  7. Report on budgetary issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in housekeeping or service fields.
