Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is seeking a dependable Custodial Technician to join our Facilities team, performing a range of cleaning tasks to keep our community facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards, including restroom sanitation, floor care, waste disposal, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Provide custodial services for indoor and outdoor Association facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors and surfaces throughout assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, floors, and fixtures.
• Clean and maintain shower and locker room facilities.
• Restock restroom supplies, paper products, soap, and other consumables.
• Clean windows, glass doors, walls, furniture, drinking fountains, entryways, and other interior surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, buffers, mops, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Follow all safety procedures, SDS requirements, and departmental guidelines when handling chemicals and cleaning products.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to supervisors.
• Lock and secure buildings and facilities when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, lift, and carry materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods when necessary.
• Ability to read product labels, safety information, and SDS documentation.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Must be mentally alert, detailoriented, and capable of making sound decisions.

Work Environment

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Position requires flexibility to handle multiple assignments, interruptions, and changing priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Employer contributions range from 75–96% depending on the plan. Dental coverage is provided through MetLife (High PPO and Low PPO) with employer contributions between 58–80%, and vision benefits are offered through Aetna (Vision Core and Vision Plus) with a 100% employer contribution.
