Job Description: Custodial Technician
Reports to: Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The main duties of the Custodial Technician include cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash cans, dusting and wiping down furniture and fixtures, and stocking and replenishing supplies. Custodians must also operate and maintain cleaning equipment, report any maintenance or repair needs, and ensure the safety of guests.

What You’ll Do:

Clean and sanitize designated areas of the facility, including restrooms, offices, and customer areas.

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, and empty trash cans and recycling bins, including restroom trash.

Dust and polish furniture and fixtures, and clean windows and mirrors.

Stock and maintain custodial closets with cleaning supplies and equipment.

Notify management of any needed repairs or maintenance issues.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous service to all customers and employees.

Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed.

Work independently or as part of a team, as required by the employer.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
