Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring Janitor Lead for New Kent County Schools in Quinton, VA. Full-time and part-time positions with a 3:30 pm–12:00 am schedule, Monday through Friday. Prior floor technician and supervisory experience is required.

The role focuses on training custodial associates, leading training sessions, and ensuring safety and proper use of cleaning equipment. Competitive pay of $15.00–$15.50 per hour plus benefits and same-day pay.

Qualifications

• Prior floor technician and supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in delivering training to custodial staff.
• Ability to conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conducts one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews to ensure OSHA and related compliance.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
