Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to supervise others and provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections for quality and safety.
• Understand staff assignments and scheduling for adequate coverage.
• Provide training and retraining per the recommended process.
• Maintain effective relationships with staff and develop employee satisfaction.
• Enforce department policies and report issues to supervisors/managers.
• Monitor on-call or new employees and ensure responsibilities are covered.
• Tour areas of responsibility multiple times daily and report issues to supervisors.
• Audit keys, pagers, and verify employees are in their areas of responsibility.
• Communicate effectively for resolution of projects or cleaning challenges.
• Control supply inventories and distribute equipment.
• Supervise equipment performance and make necessary corrections.
• Assist in employee performance evaluations and provide recommendations.
• Observe needs for furniture or fixtures repairs and report.
• Complete custodial work as needed and assist during emergencies.
• Provide essential on-site support during emergencies or inclement weather.
• Perform other assigned tasks as directed by management.
