Job summary

Kosmo Machine is seeking a Custodial Support to join our team in a fast-paced, precision shop environment. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space across production zones, restrooms, and common areas.

This role supports machinists and shop operations with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. The position offers an early shift 7:00am-3:30pm, a climate-controlled, well-lit workspace, and benefits including free lunch and a Kosmo Market subsidy.

Qualifications

• A dependable team player with a proven track record of excellent attendance.
• Standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering around industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with handling cleaning solutions and working around machinery.
• US Citizenship and VA driver's license; ability to pass background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Keep spaces clean, safe and welcoming across production zones, restrooms, breakrooms and outside areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors; empty trash and recycling; clean bathrooms and wash areas as needed.

Kosmo Machine, a premier precision and climate-controlled contract manufacturer machine shop, specializing in CNC milling and turning, EDM machining, custom welding processes, and critical component reconditioning, is looking for a full-time Custodial Support team member who takes pride in keeping things clean and organized. Compensation

• Start at$18; rangefrom$18 to$22 per hour;non-exempt FLSA class, or$37,440 to $45,760 annually.

Your Mission

• Strong Work Ethic: Exhibit passion, energy and dedication for keeping spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
• An Eye for Precision: Ensure production zones, restrooms, breakrooms, outside areas and equipment are clean and maintained. This includes:
  • Maintain cafeteria stock, wipe down tables and counters.
  • Sweep, mop, and Zamboni shop and cafe floors, empty trash and recycling, clean bathrooms and wash areas as needed.
  • Move and/or assist moving items around shop.

  • Clean and maintain equipment as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

• Motivated & Reliable: A dependable team player with a proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuation.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering safely around industrial machinery.
• Safety-First Mindset: Familiarity with handling cleaning solutions and working around machinery (prior manufacturing environment experience is a plus).
• Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship, a valid VA Driver's license (good driving record), and the ability to pass a background check/drug screen (including marijuana) are required.
