Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to assist management in maintaining cleanliness quality through inspections, training and accountability. The role emphasizes coaching frontline associates and improving morale while developing team members on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach for extended periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bi-lingual preferred (English and Spanish).
• Demonstrates customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections for quality and safety and take corrective action.
• Understand employee assignments and scheduling for adequate coverage.
• Provide training and retraining as needed following the training process.
• Enforce policies and follow up on daily tasks; conduct counseling or disciplinary actions.
• Maintain positive relationships with associates, peers, customers and managers.
• Supervise special projects and on-call or new employees.
• Audit keys, pagers, and payroll daily.
• Communicate needs for repairs or replacements of furniture or fixtures.
• Control supply inventories and distribute equipment as needed.
• Observe equipment performance and report issues.
• Assist with performance evaluations and ratings recommendations.
• Provide operational support during emergencies or weather events.
• May assist in custodial tasks as needed.
