Job summary

Six Mile, LLC seeks a Custodial Supervisor to support QP and PM in overseeing custodial staff. The role emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and contract adherence while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The position requires proven supervisory experience in large-scale custodial work, a background check, and proficiency with standard office tools. Candidates with government contracting exposure are preferred, and the team operates within a structured, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in large-scale housekeeping or custodial work with increasing responsibility.
• Minimum 5 years’ custodial experience with increasing responsibility; management experience considered.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Knowledge of stripping, waxing, and shampooing carpets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Government contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities related to janitorial services.
• Apply quality oversight to service delivery under contract specifications.
• Assist with training and supervising staff.
• Arrange substitute coverage as needed.
• Create schedules and prioritize services.
• Comply with terms in the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
• Assist with budget preparation and management.
• Coordinate requisitioning and purchasing of janitorial supplies and equipment.
• Control expenditures per purchasing rules and develop contract specifications.
• Foster a safety-conscious and compliant work culture.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Train employees in safety procedures.
• Perform incidental tasks to support team objectives.
