Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Supervisor for our GMP program in Portsmouth, NH. This entry-level management role coordinates sanitation teams, inspects areas and equipment, and ensures compliance with sanitation and OSHA standards.

The position requires supervisory skills and the ability to train staff across shifts. Responsibilities include reporting, tracking inventory and safety inspections, plus potential travel.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or related field with 1-3 years of experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Management responsibility including interviewing, hiring, planning, and directing work.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
• Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommends training and issues discipline
• Prepare written reports, such as pass down, and/or weekly/monthly updates
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
• Track equipment inventory, and schedules maintenance and repair
• Track supplies inventory
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE to assure safety compliance
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
• Correct at risk behavior immediately, then reports to the manager immediately
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
• Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
• Familiar with supervisor responsibilities
• Some travel may be required for this position

Compensation: $70,000-$75,000

Shift: 6:00PM-6:00AM

Job Overview

The GMP Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The supervisor will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations and site-specific SOPs.

Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
