Virginia Community Colleges in Richmond is seeking a Custodial Services Worker to maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, special setups, and responding as an essential personnel during emergencies.
Ideal candidates should have a working knowledge of cleaning methods and the ability to operate cleaning equipment. A valid driver’s license and hands-on custodial services experience in an institution are preferred.
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. This position is located in Custodial Services at the Downtown Campus. The Custodial Services Worker provides a clean and safe environment within Reynolds facilities for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Duties of the position include performing general housekeeping functions, assisting with special setups, and serving on the college-wide emergency team. This position is considered “Essential Personnel”, and a first responder to inclement weather and other emergencies.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
