Job summary

Our Blood Institute in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Custodial Services Specialist to maintain cleanliness and support a safe, healthy environment for patients and staff. The role focuses on environmental services across the facility, including restrooms, common areas, offices, and break rooms.

Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour, plus bonuses of $500 after 6 months and $1,000 after one year, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on housekeeping experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be dependable, responsible, honest, fair and be able to perform under stress.
• Good communication skills; both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned OBI facilities
• Perform Environmental Services, including cleaning restrooms, cleaning common areas, dusting offices, and cleaning break rooms
• Perform tasks associated with work order requests as assigned by the supervisor
• Empty waste containers (including bio-hazardous waste)
• Operate housekeeping equipment (buffers, hard floor & carpet machines)
• Shampoo carpets and maintain all other floors
• Perform all other duties as assigned
