Job summary

Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services in Sparks, NV is seeking a Custodial Worker 1 to perform cleaning and sanitation across patient care and support areas, using a range of floor care equipment and cleaning agents.

The role requires graduation from high school or equivalent, prior custodial experience or a mix of general work with custodial exposure, and a valid driver's license; schedule includes mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
• Six months custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, industrial, hospital, governmental or similar environment; OR six months general work and six months custodial experience.
• Six months of experience as a Custodial Worker Trainee in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clean and/or sanitize offices, restrooms, showers, bathtubs and other facilities according to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning services for safe, hygienic, orderly environments.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, wash windows, and sanitize restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and observe safety precautions.
• Move and set up rooms for meetings and events; maintain logs and reports as needed.
• Provide security by securing doors and reporting deficiencies.
