Job summary

Tessera is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Custodial (working supervisor) to lead janitorial staff at a Federal site in Airway Heights, WA. You will coach, schedule, and monitor cleaning operations to ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to drive on site, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities operations experience required.
• 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures, floor care equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards, PPE use, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision, coaching, and support to janitorial staff, leads, and supervisors to ensure strong performance and accountability.
• Oversee daily custodial field operations to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct training, coaching, counseling, and performance management including evaluations and reviews.
• Assist with staffing, schedules, and coverage to maintain operational continuity.
• Maintain accurate records related to timekeeping, attendance, training, incidents, and reporting.
