Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 3+ years of related custodial/ service experience in the last 5 years.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write memos and reports, and present information clearly.
• Math skills to add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide by 10s and 100s for weights/measurements.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions; problem-solving in concrete situations.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus; may require other local licenses.
• Knowledge of industrial floor care and restroom cleaning techniques; operate floor care tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift and area work assignments using routing forms.
• Issue daily schedules and allocate work based on personnel availability.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations of custodial staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Distribute supplies and equipment, maintain usage records.
• Assist HR with disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain records of cleaning frequencies and project notes; ISO practices participation.
