Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Operations and Advisory Specialist to manage end-to-end custodial account servicing and trade execution for client accounts in a fast-paced wealth management environment.

The role requires interaction with advisory teams and third-party custodians like Schwab, ensuring accurate documentation, tax withholding, and timely distributions while maintaining meticulous records in Salesforce and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in operations or financial services support roles.
• Progress toward, or interest in obtaining, a Series 65 license or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational execution for client accounts and advisory teams.
• Serve as primary contact for custodial account servicing, trade execution, distributions, and account actions.
• Liaise with Schwab operations and alternative-investment desks to resolve paperwork exceptions and transfers.
• Execute buy and sell orders across equities, ETFs, and fixed income as directed by advisors.
• Process distributions, including tax withholding and charitable distributions, and manage related documentation.
