Job summary

SSC Services For Education in Lexington, KY, invites applicants for a full‑time Janitor Lead at the University of Kentucky campus. You will supervise custodial teams, perform training, and ensure cleaning standards are met during the 9:30 am–6:00 am schedule, Tuesday through Saturday.

This role emphasizes hands-on coaching, safety compliance, and ongoing training opportunities within a nationwide facility service provider.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial and supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates.
• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records for compliance.
• Performs walk-through building inspections and other duties as assigned.
