Job summary

Boise State University is seeking a custodial supervisor to perform heavy-duty cleaning and maintenance in assigned areas and to coordinate the work of other custodians. Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with days changing every 6 months (Monday–Friday and Tuesday–Saturday).

The role involves planning and supervising custodial tasks, training staff, and ensuring safety and compliance with standards. The position supports event setup and campus operations in Boise, Idaho.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heavy-duty custodial methods and safety practices.
• Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate teams.

Responsibilities

• Explain priorities and schedule jobs; ensure safe working conditions; train staff; review work; maintain records.
• Lead heavy-duty cleaning; operate cleaning equipment; set up for events; manage supplies and inventory; assist with facilities setup.
• Report maintenance needs and support building operations.
