Job summary

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Custodian II – Custodial Lead to maintain clean and safe campus spaces across academic and public areas. You will lead daily custodial tasks, coordinate staff, and ensure high standards of sanitation and presentation in a dynamic, high-use environment.

This on-site role requires reliability, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for professional development and involvement in campus

Qualifications

• Ability to operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Experience guiding or training team members in custodial tasks.
• Capacity to prioritize workload across diverse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation across campus facilities.
• Lead daily custodial assignments and coordinate staff.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
