Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,458.32 / Annual Salary: $34,999.68

Day Shift (Off: Sat/Sun)

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center-South is looking for a positive and energetic Custodial Assistant to assist in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our facility.

Location: St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center-South Campus, 5300 Arsenal St, St. Louis, MO 63139

Responsibilities:

• Dust and clean offices, wards, residential areas, and/or state park facilities.
• Exercise care to ensure that materials are not defaced, damaged, or destroyed.
• Clean restrooms and fixtures, and replenish supplies.
• Clean dust and dirt from ceilings, walls, pipes, fixtures, floors, and windows.
• Strip, clean, wax, and polish floors.
• Operate various powered equipment in performing duties.
• Clean contaminated areas using protective clothing, devices, and agents.
• Perform simple non-skilled maintenance on area and equipment.
• Receive specific instructions and supervision in performing responsibilities.
• Work is subject to close inspection during progress or upon completion.

Eligibility:

• This is an entry-level position.
• Introductory knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in housekeeping work.
• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions.
• Ability to perform routine manual tasks requiring physical exertion.
• No disciplinary action in the previous 12 months (current Missouri applicants).
