- Answer over 80 inbound calls daily from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers
- Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances
- Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries during calls
- Maintain performance goals and metrics
- Achieve proficiency with processes after completing a structured training program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1+ year work experience required
- Previous experience in medical billing, customer service, or insurance claims preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume call environments and multiple computer applications strongly desired
- Excellent communication and organization skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous interaction with patients regarding medical information
- Experience in fast-paced work environments with several computer windows open
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team setting
- Proficiency in alpha-numeric data entry
