OVERVIEW

Install, maintain, and service equipment within multiple product lines. Provide a high level of support for customers and field service operations by exhibiting a high degree of professionalism. Credentialing requirements, including Covid vaccinations, are a condition of employment for this position. CMSU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and reasonable accommodations will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Install medical imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
  2. Perform PM inspections per equipment specifications and standards.
  3. Prepare work orders, parts orders, part returns, mileage logs, expense forms, time sheets and other administrative paperwork.
  4. Maintain all assigned assets per company P&P.
  5. Improve personal productivity by enhancing product knowledge through formal and on the job training.
  6. Service and periodic maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment on multiple products in one modality.
  7. Answer technical and applications questions.
  8. Capable of installing multiple products in one modality.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  10. Perform and document FDA and SPD testing on assigned products.
  11. Keep current with latest technical developments in multiple product lines.
  12. Support field service operations with technical knowledge on multiple product lines.
  13. Install and maintain equipment in multiple product lines.
  14. Demonstrate expertise in multiple products in 1 modality.
  15. Develop a higher level of troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  16. Personal contacts involve frequent contact with management presenting information or recommendations. Outside requests for non-routine information requiring tact/judgment are handled.
  17. Plans own workload.
  18. Occasionally supervised; activities are governed by general organizational rules and procedures; much autonomy within established time frames.
  19. Work on diversified tasks that involve a range of complex but standardized procedures. Semi-routine duties may involve solving frequent problems within standards or procedures.
  20. Position duties involve making frequent decisions and frequent recommendations.
  21. Develop service-selling skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Proven ability in developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships.
  2. 2 Year / associate's degree Electronics technology or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  3. 2 years Advanced electronics experience. 3 years Field service experience.
  4. Location preferred: Pasadena, Alhambra, Arcadia, Monrovia, La Canada, Glendale, Flintridge, Covina and San Dimas.
  5. Min. $69,300 base to Max $111,500 base (annual equivalency) DOE.
