Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a Machine Cleaner to safely and efficiently perform general and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems across the location. You will engage in safety processes, lock out/tag out procedures, and upkeep documentation while ensuring equipment reliability.

The role requires understanding mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and proper use of hand and power tools. Applicants must be able to read instructions, document PMs, and communicate effectively.

JOB TITLE:

Machine Cleaner

REPORTS TO:

Engineer and/or Maintenance Manager

PURPOSE:

To safely and efficiently perform general and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems throughout the location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate in the plant safety process
2. Lock Out/Tag equipment being worked on
3. Understand Mechanical systems.
4. Understand pneumatics and hydraulic systems
5. Use of hand and power tools safely
6. Maintain documents on various systems
7. Perform, document, and keep up with Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
8. Maintain and order spare parts as needed.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Production Equipment, Hand and power tools, Shop equipment, Fork lift (as needed), Aerial Lift (as needed), Hoists, Ladders, Oils and Lubricants, Various materials, fire Extinguisher.
